儿童诗班在1979年2月成立，由洪慧容老师和前诗班员杨淑琳姐妹一同带领。练习时间在每周五晚上8点，所唱的诗歌主要是以华文为主。其间，也教导儿童们用潮语唱短诗。诗班也定期在每月的第二个主日于潮华崇拜中献唱。
